We in the Redland Community finally got a good much needed rain.

Three of our young ladies had their annual dance recital on Thursday night. They were Katy Cox, Sarah Hicks and Amanda Cummings.

Thomas Hulan and girls, Ashley and Kim, from Gurdon visited his parents, Willie and Julene, on Sunday.

Donna Ridling has returned from a trip to Oregon, visiting family and friends.

Ellen Marie Holt has been visiting Harvey and Ruth Barham and other relatives in Dallas.

Shane and Amanda Meador from Glenwood visited his parents, Sid and Sandy Meador, Sunday and attended church at Shady Grove.

Nuggy Cagle spent Sunday with Happy Meeks.

Toby, Kim and Shelbi Cottingham spent Saturday in Texarkana to be with his mother, Mary Lou, whose husband, John Cobb, had heart surgery.

Morgan Ridling from Hope spent Sunday with Shelbi Cottingham.

Joy Cox and her sister, Louise Willis, visited Louise's daughter, Susie Steelman, in Camden on Tuesday and then on to El Dorado.

Danny, Lisa, Kyle and Caley Pennington visited his parents, Bill and Leola Lanius.

Jim and Leona Ballard's foster daughter, Donna Dempsey, from DeWitt visited them on Sunday.

Don and Libby Crane and Roy and Betty Cagle made a tour of southwestern Arkansas on Sunday.

It's amazing how fast members and friends and men called working witnesses are making progress on the Liberty Church of the Nazarene parsonage.

Gary, Gaywyn and Grant Golden and Grant's friend, Gina, visited her parents, George and Joy Cox, on Saturday.

Frances Swift, Billie Ridling's sister, is retiring and moving to Arkansas and will live in her mother, Willie McClain's, house.

William and Launita Felts from Conroe, Texas, and Clinton and Oleta Barham from Longview, Texas, visited their aunts, Donnie Rinkle and Lucy Taylor, at Hillcrest Rehab.

Faye Taylor visited her mother, Minnie Moore, in a Camden hospital on Saturday.
