Holiday Forces Closings

Offices of the Nevada County Picayune will be closed this Friday, December 24, for the Christmas holidays.

Other business hours changing in the community include the Bank of Prescott and the Nevada County Branch Bank of Delight will be closing at 12 noon.

Nevada County will be closed Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24 in accordance with state holiday closings.

The courthouse will be closed Friday December 31.

Nevada County Landfill will be closed on December 24 and December 31 for the holidays. The county's trash trucks will run on the 23rd and 30th.

Prescott City Hall will be closing the same as Nevada County. The trash pickup in the city schedule is not known at press time, though businesses should be careful about putting out trash on the normal day of Friday according to officials.

Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce director Mary Godwin encourages county residents to shop early, locally. Some area merchants may close early on Christmas Eve so they may enjoy the holidays with their families.

The Partnership's hours (chamber and Economic office) will be the same as the county and city.
