PHS Booster Club Is Reorganized

Published Wednesday, December 15, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune

The Prescott Athletic Booster Club has recently been reorganized for the 1999-2000 year.

New officers include: president, Ralph and Claudette Harris; vice president, Terry and Connie Cox; secretary, Sandy and Mike Morman; treasurer, Debbie Bullock; and phone chairman, Edith Greenwood and Kathy McKinnon.

Special committees include by-laws, chaired by Mike Yates, Ned Ward and Rick McGough; sale items, chaired by Kathy McKinnon and Sandy Morman; and membership, chaired by Terri Matthews and Wanda Jones.

The club's purpose is to raise funds to purchase athletic awards (jackets, letters, patches and special awards) for all sports offered at Prescott High School. PHS currently fields teams in football, basketball, track and field, baseball, softball, tennis and golf.

New items the club has for sale include Curley Wolf license plates for your car, 'Go, Curley Wolves, Go' yard signs, and Prescott Curley Wolf window stickers. These items are on hand now and will make great Christmas gifts for that Curley Wolf fan.

Anyone wishing to join the Prescott Athletic Booster Club can do so for $5 per person. All membership fees go toward awards purchasing.

For more information on joining or purchasing any the items mentioned, contact any booster club member or call Ralph Harris at 887-3786. Fans are urged to join in and show the youth of the community that they are supported in their athletic endeavors.
