It is reunion time for a lot of families. This weekend 59 members of the Mike Poindexter family got together at the fellowship hall of Bodcaw #1 Church. There are 11 children from Oregon and California and all but two were in attendance. A great time, lots of visiting and good eating.

Peggy and Alvin Butler has been on a trip to South Carolina to see Bud and Jan Daniels. Tillman and Myron Caudle have been here. They were house sitting for Alvin.

Russ Carlton sang at the Chicken and Egg Festival at Prescott. Then on Saturday night he sang at Oaklawn Opera in Texarkana.

Chris and Earlene Butler went to Phyllis's on Thursday for a visit. On Sunday Todd Butler went to Little Rock to return Earlene home.

Lindsey Curtis of Bodcaw was in church with Marilyn and Russ Carlton on Sunday night.

Two joined the church on Sunday for baptism. We always welcome new members.

Mary Poindexter had grandchildren Hayden and Racey in Sunday school.

The Dorman sisters attended a singing at College Hill of McNeil on Sunday.

I visited Harland and Nedra McKelvy on Saturday afternoon.
