Hope all your neighbors have a merry Christmas. Homes in Caney appear warm and beautiful, all decorated with Christmas lights.

The young folks of Morris Baptist Church made a beautiful float for the Christmas parade. Thanks to all who helped. The youngsters plan to take the float and go caroling Wednesday evening, weather permitting.

The rain has really been appreciated by neighbors whose stock ponds had nearly gone dry.

Traci Hicks was honored with a pink and blue shower Friday evening. Chris and Traci expect the new arrival in January. Margie Reed, Betty McBride, Celia Karmel and Carolyn Hicks hosted the party.

Bro. Junior Loe has at last started his treatments. He has had two with three to go. We wish him well.

J.W. Glass is feeling better after having the flu.

Heather Callicott missed several days of school last week. She had allergies and laryngitis. You can't teach if you can't talk.

Bro. Tal Webb's Sunday school class will have their Christmas party at Christy Rhodes' home next Friday at 7 p.m.

The senior citizen Sunday school class will meet at the home of Lucy Glass December 27 for holiday celebration.

Ken Karmel made a business trip to New Orleans. He left Sunday and will be back Wednesday.
