Community NewsJerine HatleyPublished Wednesday, December 15, 1999 in the Gurdon Times The third Sunday night fellowship singing will convene with Clayborn Chapel AME Church Sunday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Rev. Parham, pastor. Bro. Leodis Lyons, Bro. Roosevelt House in charge. Deacon Raymond Smith, member of the Gennesaret Baptist Church, will preach his first sermon Sunday, Dec. 26, at 7:00 p.m. at Gennesaret Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Everyone is welcome. Rev. Charles Hood, pastor. Dec. 31, beginning at 10:00 p.m., New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of the city will have a watch meeting night. It will be family and friends night. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. April Hatley, daughter of Rev. Rufus and Dianna Hatley, will graduate Friday, Dec. 18, at 6:00 p.m. from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. She is the granddaughter of Mary Bell and Jerine and Fred Hatley.
