The senior adults really enjoyed the Gurdon High School band last Wednesday. The band also played for the Rotary last Thursday here at the center.

The week of Dec. 13-17, we will play bingo and tour the Teddy Bear House. On Wednesday, Jerry Don Childers will be bring a choir of primary school children to sing. The head start children will be presenting a program one day this week. Also this week is your chance to try your hand at shuffle board and we will take a trip to Wal-Mart on Friday.

Christmas is fast approaching, and we have enjoyed seeing the houses that are decorated so beautifully. This is a busy time for everyone, but let us not forget the real meaning of Christmas.

Next week, we have activities planned. The center will be closed Dec. 24-27.

The center is a program of Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way agency.
