Decorations TakenPublished Wednesday, December 15, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesChristmas decorations erected by the City of Gurdon were taken either Saturday or Sunday, Dec. 4-5, and have been recovered by the GPD. The decorations were taken from City Hall and the median on Main Street near the Hoo Hoo Museum. They include a wire frame lighted angel, a wooden hand painted nativity scene, two wooden reindeer and a Santa Claus. These items were valued at $680. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
