Chancel Choir to Perform At First MethodistPublished Wednesday, December 8, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesSunday, Dec. 12, during the morning worship service of First United Methodist Church, the chancel choir will present the musical The First Noel by Joe E. Parks. The evening service will feature the children and youth of the church. The children's choir will perform It's Christmas by Terry Kirkland while the older youth provide narration. The younger youth will provide special holiday hand bell music. These two Christmas programs will be under the direction of Jerry Childers and Jennifer Gates. Everyone is invited.
