College NewsPublished Wednesday, December 8, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesThe Office of University Relations and Admissions of Henderson State University has announced three scholarship recipients from the seniors of Gurdon High School. The students are Christina Schee, Heather Davies and John Michael Grayson. Schee has been awarded the university academic scholarship for 2000-2001. According to Vikita Bell Hardwrick, director, the scholarship is equivalent to in-state tuition and fees for up to four years, which equals approximately $9,992. Schee is the daughter of Robert Schee. Her major is pre-med. Davies and Grayson both have been offered the award of achievement scholarship for 2000-2001. The scholarship is equivalent to $500 per semester for up to four years, which equals approximately $4,000 per student. Davies is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Davies.
