Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, December 8, 1999 in the Gurdon Times Wednesday of last week, Beatrice Stafford played the piano as the seniors were singing the good old hymns. Thursday we enjoyed the art work of Sherry Cursey. The paintings were really beautiful. The week of Dec. 6-10, we will play bingo, listen to the Gurdon High School band, have our blood pressure and blood sugar tested for free by National Park Medical Center and have the square dancers entertain. The musicmakers will be visiting the Twin Rivers Rehabilitation Center. As you can see we will have activities all month. This is a wonderful time of year when we celebrate our savior's birth. Let us not in our busy time of buying gifts for everyone, forget the most precious gift of all, God's son. The center is a program of Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way agency.
