Edgar JohnsonPublished Wednesday, December 8, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneEdgar Johnson, 69, of Prescott died Saturday, December 4, 1999, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Johnson was born February 10, 1930, in Hempstead County to Joe and Bertie James Johnson. He was a retired farmer and a member of Green Hill Methodist Church of Prescott. Survivors include one brother, Leo Johnson of Prescott; one sister, Verta Mae Smith of Oakland, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, at 2:30 p.m. at Green Hill Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Shirley Renix officiating.
