Toy Drive Underway

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve is sponsoring Toys for Tots. Toys are being collected in Prescott at Taylor's Big Star and the Bank of Prescott and in Hope at Wal-Mart. These must be new toys.

Applications to receive toys may be picked up at the Bank of Prescott or you may call 887-5531. Those picked up at the bank must be returned to the bank and not faxed as the form may state. All applications must be in by Dec. 10.

The Corps will be at the Wal-Mart store December 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for anyone from Prescott wanting to donate personally.

Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
