Pageant Is SaturdayPublished Wednesday, December 1, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe 2000 Miss PHS Pageant will be held Saturday, December 4, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. 'A Country Christmas' is this year's theme. Jerry Westmoreland will be the emcee. Twelve contestants will be competing for awards in interview, sportswear, talent and evening gown categories. Miss PHS, first runner up and second runner up awards will be given. The contestants are Crystal Moss, Brandy Stuckey, April Marks, Elizabeth Heckman, Ana Montoya, Tonya Kisner, Cassie Cottingham, Cynequa Haynie, Lasheena Guillard, Maranda Butler, Traci Graham and Carolyn Sims. A variety of entertainment will be provided throughout the pageant. Entertainers are Miss Texarkana Jessie Ward, Mistie Holley and children's choir, Rachael Dougan and Kenny Wiley. The reigning Miss PHS, Kristen Teague, will provide special entertainment. Wolftrail, the PHS yearbook staff, sponsors the pageant. Tickets are on sale for $3 in advance and $4 at the door.
