Thanksgiving is truly a time to enjoy and visit with friends and family.

Bill and Lela Faye Ridling enjoyed their two sons, Bill Jr. and Mike, and daughter, Pat, from Hope and their families for Thanksgiving.

It is always sad to loose loved ones on holidays. In fact it's hard anytime. Donnie Rinkle received word that she has lost her daughter, Frances, with a heart attack. Frances was the daughter of the late Hamby Rinkle and will be buried in Michigan.

Eddie and Bettie Hillery hosted a delicious family Thanksgiving dinner. Those attending were Michael, Dee, Jerod, Meghan and Askew from Hope, John, Chelsea, Triston and Mackanzie and Rodney Phillips from Blevins. The following friends joined them later for a trail ride, Meghan Askew and Chelsea Phillips of Marshal, Texas, and Helen McCorkle of Hope; A.J and Bess Robinson of Norphlet; Walter and Lynn Dodge of Sutton; and don't leave the Hillery clan out. Neil and I were honored by being invited for lunch, but forget the trail ride.

Jerry, Rhonda, Justin and Cole Hillery and Chanda and Lane Martin spent Thanksgiving in Benton with Jerry's sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gary.

Betty and Jim Robinson from Dallas are spending several days with her mother, Lucy Taylor, who has been seriously ill in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Our grandkids, Chris and Ginger from Dallas, Casey Meeks from Ole Miss and Neil and I had lunch with Randy, Charity and Caleb on Saturday. Charity's mother, Betty Wilson, from Texarkana also had lunch.

Frances Bidwell has returned home after visiting her daughter, Dina, and Bill Luck in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

Peggy Roedel from Jonesboro returned home Monday after spending Thanksgiving with her son, Darren, Kristi and Emilee Neal.

Amanda and Emily Byers from Hope and a friend, Hannah, from the Dominican Republic attending college at Conway with Amanda visited Neil and me on Saturday night. They also visited the Walter DeYoung family, Walt, Mary, Mindy and Karen, Wanda Steed, Mrs. Tuberville, Dwight and Tiny Meeks.

I want to apologize to Cherrie Wilson and Terri Vandiver, they graciously gave me news and I lost it.
