A revival will be held at First Baptist Church in Gurdon Sun., Dec. 5 through Wed., Dec 8, at 7:00 p.m. during the week. Evangelist will be Bro. Todd West of Jonesboro. Everyone is invited.


Gurdon First Assembly of God will present 'The Hallelujah Christmas Cruise' on Dec. 19 at 6:00 p.m. This is a musical drama with more than a dozen cast members. All families and friends are welcome to watch the youth minister through drama. The church is located at 1007 East Main. Call 353-2804 for a ride or more information.


Arkansas Rehabilitation Services will be holding sessions at the Gurdon Municipal Building on Dec. 2 from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Dec. 16. From 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.


Open house and dedication will be held for the Clark County courthouse and new complex Sun., Dec. 12, at 2:00 p.m. All Clark County residents are invited.


The city of Gurdon reminds residents the storm sirens are tested every Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Sirens are not tested during inclement weather.


The Lions Club is now able to begin collecting old eye glasses. The collection point in Gurdon is First Baptist Church or you can call Charles Shaver at 353-4640.

Old glasses are recycled by Lions International.


Gurdon Masonic Lodge 187 meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. All members are urged to attend.


Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion building, Highway 67 North, one mile out of Gurdon.
