Some of you may be wondering about me and my electric blanket. Yes, I do have it on, but I'll admit I'm constantly turning it off and on.

Jim and Leona Ballard left on Friday to attend the wedding of their granddaughter, Melissa Tomlin, to Chris Puchen on Saturday, November 20, at the Church of God South Park in Tyler, Texas.

It is interesting to know we still have friends who enjoy coming home. I'm just not nosy enough, because so many times I just fail to find out interesting things.

Ed and Sue Bryson, son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Bryson, now living in Dillion, Colo., are staying at their camp and hunting for several weeks.

Tom Barham, son of the late J.W. and Elsie Barham, is here visiting his son, Brad Barham, and his family and his sister, Carolyn, and Ned Purtle in Hope. He also visited Neil and me. Because of sickness, Tom's wife was unable to come.

Frances Swift from Rockport, Texas, is spending Thanksgiving at her home here and also visiting her sister, Billie Ridling.

Kathie, Larry, Ashley and John Smart from Roulett, Texas, visited Kathie's parents this weekend and attended the wedding of Tate Booker and Jamie Fore.

My Aunt Lou Ella Cobb and Linda Lee from Hope visited Neil and me on Sunday.

Eddie and Bettie Hillery recently returned from a sightseeing trip through northern Arkansas.

Dixie Clary and Cindy Wake spent the weekend in Fayetteville, helping plan and get ready for the wedding of their granddaughter and sister-in-law, which will take place the 18th of December. Erica is the daughter of the late Cathy Ellis and Randy Ellis.
