Rosston

We are thankful there has not been any casualties during deer season here. I don't think there have been many deer killed around here, but the hunters have all had a good time.

Roscoe and I had fish dinner with all the cousins at the Hart camp on Wednesday and Thursday night, which was family night. We had 49 present, which was a large bunch considering the number who have passed away. Since deer season last year we lost D.D. Fairchild of Perrytown and J.P Hart and Darrel Hart of Rosston. Everyone appreciated their families joining us.

Max and Ruth Hill of Dallas spent the week in Rosston at their vacation home. They were our supper guests on Monday night and on Friday night we took them to the Rails and celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.

Audrey Fore has been undergoing tests in Little Rock this week. She did not get a very good report, so please remember her and her family in your prayers.

A.B. and Maxine Luck's son-in-law, Harold Wise, of Benton passed away Friday morning. Funeral was Monday in Benton at Ashby Funeral Home. Roscoe, Bro. Petie and I visited at the funeral home Sunday afternoon. Please remember Darla and family when you pray. Rosston extends sympathy to them. They once lived here and were members of our church.

The spaghetti supper was well attended on Saturday night and there was enough left for church members on Sunday. It was very good, girls.

Our great granddaughter, Kathryn Rocole, of Magnolia spent Friday night, Sunday night and Monday with us. Jimmy and Booie Williams took her to Hot Springs on Saturday for a fun day. We're babysitting while her mother is in college. Kathryn is out of school this week.

Our grandson, Marty, and a friend, Billy Young, of Texarkana spent Sunday night with us and went deer hunting early Monday morning.

Sue Dixon is home after spending a few days in Branson. She reports a good time, but didn't feel too good while she was gone.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. We have so very much to be thankful for, especially our health. We plan to spend the day with son Dwight and his wife Marion in Texarkana.

Lyn Dean Morman is home for two weeks to recuperate. Remember her.
