I went to church Sunday morning at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Young preached a soul stirring message. They had a harvest dinner Sunday afternoon. They have a future church there. There are lots of young people. They took a special offering for Sis. Gloria Elliott. She has to have a kidney transplant. She was one of the teachers at Nevada School and sister of Josie Simpson. She has to go to Texarkana every day for treatments. Thank God her daughter takes her there. One of her daughters lives in Rosston.

Fred Gulley Jr's. funeral was held Tuesday at Bethel AME Church. Rev.J.W. McCraw did the eulogy.

Artie Volt Tidwell has been in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Let's pray for the sick and shut in.

George has not been feeling good lately.

Jessie Young got married Saturday afternoon at his home in Rosston.

Some of this is last week's news. I have been in the hospital myself. I stayed in ICU for three days. I am not doing so well lately. Pray for me that I will feel better soon. People have been very good to me by bringing me meals and doing nice things for me and my husband. He can't do anything for himself. I did not know I had so many friends.

The Young Singers had their anniversary Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Our planning meeting was held in Hot Springs November 18-20. Some of the pastors were sent back to where they were pastors before. They sent E. Montgomery to Bethel in Hope where Rev. Hughes was pastoring.

Rev. Emanuel Jenkins got married Saturday. They said it was really nice after being single almost six or seven years.

Cora Simpson is out of the hospital and back home.

Martha Paden fell and is in the hospital in Camden. I hope she will be home soon.

I hope wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Christmas is just around the corner.
