Muldrew Chapel CME Church will be holding a Thanksgiving revival Nov. 25, 26 and 27 at 7:00 p.m., with evangelist Tony Young from the Principal for Life Ministry in Memphis, Tenn.


Cornerstone Baptist of Arkadelphia will be holding a gospel singing on Nov. 20 at 7:00 p.m. The group performing will be New Dawning. A love offering will be taken.


Local barber and stylist Tommy Potter has finished in the top ten at a recent professional seminar offered by Redken in Camden. The seminar covered the latest styles in hair cutting.


Open house and dedication will be held for the Clark County courthouse and new complex Sun., Dec. 12, at 2:00 p.m. All Clark County residents are invited.


The city of Gurdon reminds residents the storm sirens are tested every Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Sirens are not tested during inclement weather.


The board of directors of Southwest Central Regional Solid Waste Management District will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wed., Nov. 17, at the offices of West Central Arkansas Planning and Development Dist. in Hot Springs.


The Lions Club is now able to begin collecting old eye glasses. The collection point in Gurdon is First Baptist Church or you can call Charles Shaver at 353-4640.

Old glasses are recycled by Lions International.


Gurdon Masonic Lodge 187 meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. All members are urged to attend.


Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion building, Highway 67 North, one mile out of Gurdon.
