Christmas Frolic Open House Set In Little RockPublished Wednesday, November 17, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneLittle Rock's oldest conclave of buildings, the Arkansas Territorial Restoration, invites visitors to experience a 'Christmas Frolic Open House' on December 5. Nineteenth-century characters will be on hand to demonstrate and explain holiday traditions from frontier days. Old-fashioned ginger cake and hot apple cider will be served and there will be dancing, children's activities and other pioneer traditions. There will be live holiday music, Victorian-era handcrafted items, such as Christmas ornaments and refreshments.
