This weekend went by to fast for some I'm sure, since it was deer season. Hope that you are having a safe and enjoyable hunt.

Vickie Wesson from Phoenix, Ariz., visited with Patricia Kirkham and family and her grandma Hazel Hendrix.

Jerry Stel from Indianapolis formerly of the Fairview area, passed away this past week. He was buried at Pleasant Hill Saturday afternoon.

Speaking of Pleasant Hill, if you drive down the Delight Highway, be sure to admire the new gates on the cemetery.

Ronnie Collins and Jeremy from Clarksville and Nick from Cleveland, Miss., were down this past weekend to do some hunting. They were guests with Ronnie's mother, Ruby, and Thomas Fontaine.

Thomas Cobb, David Cobb's father, visited him and Karen and spent the day with them.

The Singing Gospelaires will be at Missionary Grove Sat., Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m.

Leslie Renfro had cataract surgery last Monday. He was to have gone back this Monday for a report.

Jesna Cornelius and Reggie Lamb were hosted with a wedding shower Sunday afternoon at Missionary Grove.

Donald and David Hopkins went on a shopping adventure with their Aunt Connie Peters Saturday. They had a wonderful time.

Aaron Morton spent Tuesday through Sunday at McCaskill with his dad and other relatives.

Mike Burke, who lives at Texarkana, is down visiting with his parents, Joe and Doris Burke, this week. He said he will be doing some deer hunting during his stay.

Rev. Larry Jones and wife, Carlet, had visitors Sunday afternoon. Helen Jones stopped by to see the new addition to the family. They have a new puppy. Henry Stuart also came by to see Larry and Carlet Sunday afternoon.

Florence Cornelius had surgery Monday. She will be in Hillcrest for a while to recuperate. Hope every thing goes well for her.
