Lifton Lee Cearley

Lifton Lee Cearley, 57, of Prescott died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Baptist Medical Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.

Mrs. Cearley was born August 15, 1941, in Caney to Samuel and Ivory Pearl Rhodes Glass. She was a school bus driver and cafeteria worker with the Nevada School District. Mrs. Cearley was a member and pianist (approximately 50 years) at Morris Baptist Church in Caney and a member of the Double 'C' Extension Club. She was preceded in death by one brother, Pete McCrae Glass.

Survivors include her husband, Travis Cearley of Prescott; one son, Gene Cearley of Caney; two daughters, Renee Cearley Frost of Little Rock and Sherry Rodriguez of Rosston; one sister, Ann Loe of Caney; three grandchildren, Joshua Rodriguez, Samantha Cearley and April Marlar; and one great granddaughter, Alexis Brooke Marlar.

Funeral services were Monday, June 21, at Morris Baptist Church in Caney with Rev. Jewell Duncan and Rev. Tal Webb officiating. Burial was in Caney Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
