Let's pray that all hunters will have a safe week, as well as travelers who have to go through hunting areas.

Ken and Celia Karmel have returned home from Albuquerque, N.M. They have purchased a summer home there.

Bro. Junior Loe will begin treatment next week for cancer. He will have a treatment every day for several weeks.

Velma Loe passed away last week. She was a sister to Merlene Glass.

Margie Reed received word Saturday that her stepson's wife, Terissa Reed, has died. She has been ill for sometime. She was a native of El Dorado.

Myrtie Bearden suffered a broken hip last week. She was trying to herd some horses that had broken out of their pen. They knocked her down and broke her hip. She is still in the hospital in Texarkana.

Kenny and Pat McCullough, Tim and Leah of Kilbourn, La., visited her parents, J.W. and Maxine Glass, last weekend. Maxine returned to Kilbourn with them for a few days and left J.W. to feed the puppies while she was gone. Cody Jackson went to church with grandpa J.W. Sunday evening and spent the night. He was excited about going hunting Monday with J.W.

We had lots of deer hunters visiting our church Sunday. We are always proud when they choose our church.

Bro. Junior and Ann, Lucy Glass and Sidney Loe met Don and Peggy Fain at Woods in Camden for lunch Sunday after church. After lunch they visited Sam and June Bradshaw and Bro. Novel and Lorena McAteer. They reported the McAteers are doing fine, except the doctor has stopped Bro. Novel from driving.
