Deer season and the unseasonable warm weather is the big news this week.

Lt. Robert Cramblett of Kansas spent the weekend with Paula and Robin Ridgell. The men folks went deer hunting.

Diane and Billy Blankenship and Chad spent Saturday night with Annie Mae Hooks. Chad and Billy went deer hunting Saturday. Chad killed a deer. Billy is spending a few days to hunt.

There was a bunch at the Johnson deer camp Saturday night. Visiting Mildred Johnson were Jackie and Georgia Johnson, Doug and Carol Johnson, Clinton and Joyce Johnson, Greg Johnson, John and Brian Yarbourgh of Cabot, Theresa and Mark Wicher of Jacksonville and others.

Kathleen Hooks, Richard Hubbard, Hershel Hooks and grandsons Devin and Levi spent the weekend to do some deer hunting, and they also visited Cathrine Hooks and Mae Blount.

Patricia Ingersoll and Linda and Beth Christopher visited Patricia's mother, J.D. Couch, of Nathan Saturday.

Our son, Willie Hugh, spent Friday night with us. Willie deer hunted Saturday, but no luck.

Olgia and Terrell Ingersoll had dinner Sunday with Donald and Patricia Ingersoll.

Pete and Jimmy Joe Jester, Thomas Jester and some of their buddies went to a deer camp over the weekend. Cathryn and Dotty Jester and Elsie Elmore picked up Darlene Young of Hope Saturday and went shopping at Wal-Mart and had dinner at Catfish King in Hope.

Elsie Elmore had a reaction to her medicine last week. She spent several days with her daughter, Cathryn Jester, and her family.

There will be a singing at Boughton Church Saturday night, November 20, at 7:00. The featured singers will be the Testimonies of County Line of Nashville and the Renewals of Fulton. You are invited.
