Sherrill Dickens YoungPublished Wednesday, November 10, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesSherrill Dickens Young, 82, of Gurdon, widow of the late Rev. Grady Dickens and Harold Young, died Wed., Nov. 3, 1999. She was a homemaker and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Curtis. Survivors include one son, Jerry Dickens of Gurdon; two daughters, Vonnie Bishop of Prescott, and Sue Clayton of Gurdon; 10 grand-children; and 10 great grand-children. Funeral services were Fri., Nov. 5, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Hastings officiating. Burial was in Brown Cemetery in Beirne under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
