Published Wednesday, November 10, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune

Willie spent most of the week in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. The doctors ran tests and gave him 5 units of blood, so he is home looking forward to deer season. Our son Willie Hugh spent most of the week with us.

Syble Brown, Judy Allen and Herbie Ridgell visited us after Willie got out of the hospital.

Chloe Orren enjoyed having Freddie Garner and her son Russ Garner and family of Malvern visit her recently.

Jackie and Georgia Johnson of Morris, Ill., are spending a couple of weeks with his mother, Mildred Johnson. Doug and Carol Johnson of North Little Rock spent the weekend with his mother, brother and wife.

Bro. Marice Hitt preached at Boughton Church Sunday.

Elsie Elmore is having some problems with a sore leg.

Sammy and Kaye House, Jason and Lauren of Little Rock spent Sunday with his parents Lenord and Faye House. Sammy and Lenord were honored with a birthday dinner. Their birthdays are on the same day.

Thomas and Dotty Jester and Jeff McGlone and little Frankie visited Cathryn and Pete Jester during the weekend.

Celistal Norris had her tonsils removed last week, but is doing fine.

We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Jimmie Calaway of Alpine, at the time of her death. She was with her daughter, Opal Shepherd. She grew up in the Redland community and is the cousin of Willie Hulan and the aunt of Annie Mae Hooks.
