A few days of cooler weather was nice. But it's supposed to get warmer for the longest day of the year.

Happy Father's Day to all fathers. It is good to look back and to remember our own fathers. For many of us it is just happy memories.

A beautiful floral arrangement in honor and memory of Harlin Tye by his family was displayed Sunday in church. Some family members were in church with mom, Marie. They were Linda and Labe Haynie of Prescott, Suella Tye and grand baby Harlin, Bob and Janette Spencer of El Dorado and Karen and Bruce Gilmore of El Dorado.

Norris Daniels had a nice surprise visit from Ron Stringfellow of Camden, who is a long time friend of Norris and I.J.'s.

Gail and Andy Mello of Lafayette, La., was in church with grandmother, Alta Mullins.

The Ambassadors are busy with concerts most every weekend.

Mike and Jackie Allen and Cory Butrum of Lincoln attended the Fielding reunion and visited J.D. and Marie Allen.

Sorry to report that John L. Williams is in Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, where he had surgery. Remember him.

Phyllis Butler was home for the weekend.

The fathers of our church was honored with a gift and a poem about fathers.

Harland and Nedra McKelvy and I attended the funeral services for Glen Walker at Bluff City on Saturday. He was our brother's brother-in-law.
