Paul and Ellen Nelson have recently moved from California to Arkansas and I would call this a recent family get-together at their home. Those attending were Virginia Keltner, a niece of Ellen's of Little Rock; Lola, Ellen's, sister, Jean Rogers of Missouri and Wayne, a brother to Ellen, from Delhi, La., Lola's daughter and Ellen's niece from Rogers and Linda Ross.

Darren, Kristi and Emilee Neal honored Grandma Rhonda at their home on Sunday with a birthday party. I understand about 24 were present.

On Friday, the 22nd, the Ridlings honored their mom, grandma, great great grandma and many friends at the Western Sizzlin in Hope. About 70 were in attendance.

The annual Thanksgiving soup and pie supper will be at Liberty Church in the fellowship hall Sun., Nov. 7, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Come and let the Liberty Church of the Nazarene tell you 'Thank you.'

We welcome Rev. and Mrs. Vernon Hatton and Tina to our community. They are getting settled in their new parsonage and may be contacted day or night at 887-6600 or at Rt. 4 Box 188, Prescott 71857.

Word has been received that Rev. Betty Stinson is a new great grandmother. Her son, Laverne, and wife are the grandparents of Hannah Elizabeth Kempheus.

Donnie Rinkle was a very happy great grandma when her granddaughter brought her new grandbaby for a short visit from Michigan one day last week.

It would be impossible for me to say a very special thanks for all the visits, food, and it's impossible to name all the nice things done on my behalf. My pastor, Mike Taylor, has been very thoughtful. The doctors says I'm terminal, but I'm depending on the Lord.
