Over 20 countries participated in Albuquerque, N.M. Margie Reed and her grandson Dennis Hicks made a quick trip to Cut Off, La., earlier this week to visit Margie's sister, Charlotte Smith. Charlotte plans to return to Caney for a few days. Bro. Junior Loe has a doctor's appointment in Little Rock this week at which he hopes to start treatments at this time. Nita Joyce Wicker fell in the bath tub Saturday and got a badly broken arm. They rushed her to Texarkana for surgery Saturday night. Jerry Don is still not doing real good. He was not able to be at the singing Thursday night. The benefit lunch for Chris Hicks and family was well attended Saturday at noon. Chris and Traci really appreciate friends and neighbors for their help. He is improving some. Don and Peggy Fain of Camden were house guests of her parents, Junior and Ann Loe, Saturday night and attended church at Morris Church Sunday. Margaret Barham had surgery on her neck last week. She will be indisposed for a while. Hope she is feeling better. Our prayers and best wishes for Madalene Marlar. She has been in the hospital in serious condition for some time. Kenny, Pat, Tim and Leah McCullough of Kilbourn, La., were weekend guests of J.W. and Maxine Glass. We had a good song service at Morris Sunday afternoon. Van and Ellen Smith visited with Lucy Glass after the singing. J.W. and Maxine Glass and the Smiths had supper with Lucy. Sidney Steed and Ellen Dougan visited Ellen's daughter, Cathy, Sunday.
