BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, November 3, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Jimmy Joe Jester killed a nice 10-point deer during muzzle loading season. Congratulations, Bubba. Willie and I enjoyed having one of our son's, Willie Hugh, school mates visit us last week. Scottie Weaver and wife Clara of Lexington, S.C., and also James Lee Barnes visited. Everett and Mary Orren spent Thursday night with Fate House of Powderly, Texas. They also made a little tour through the mountains of Oklahoma, sightseeing. Her funeral was Saturday at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Burial was in Okolona. Cathrine Hooks is out of the hospital, but still very ill. Her sons, Doyle Everett and Tommy, visited her over the weekend and also made a float on the Little Missouri River and caught a bunch of fish.
