Arrilla HamiltonPublished Wednesday, November 3, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneArrilla Hamilton, 95, died Sun., Oct. 24, 1999, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mrs. Hamilton was born Aug. 12, 1904, to the union of George and Mary Hamilton in the Boughton community. Four brothers and six sisters preceded in death. She attended Boughton Public School. She joined the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She attended church regularly until she left the community to work in Los Angeles, Calif., and returned to her native home. She was self-sufficient until two years ago when her residence became Beverly Health and Rehab in Prescott. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Mrs. Alberta Hamilton; one nephew, Johnny Hamilton Jr. (Mae); two nieces, Ms. Freddie Hamilton of Prescott and Mrs. Ophelia James (Vernon) of Berkeley, Calif.; two nieces-in-law, Mrs. Thurstin Hamilton of Little Rock and Mrs. Perrine Franklin of Prescott; six great-nephews; seven great-nieces and other relatives and friends. Services were Sat., Oct. 30, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Hughes and Sis. Annie Hubbard officiating.
