Josie Coleen AndersonPublished Wednesday, November 3, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneJosie Coleen McMaster Anderson, 90, of Benton, formerly of Prescott, died Wed., Oct. 27, 1999, at her home. Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 3, 1909, in Okolona to Thomas E. and Alexena Osborn McMaster. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Prescott, a member of DAR and American Legion Auxiliary and also past president of the National Letter Carriers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce 'Cable' Anderson, in 1988 and by four brothers, Tom, Robbie, Grady and Ralph McMaster, and by two sisters, Florene Harrington and Annie Baker. Survivors include one son, David Paul Anderson and his wife Carolyn of Lincoln, Neb.; one daughter, Mary Jo Lambert and Carol of Benton; one sister, Eva Edwards of Blissfield, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, Alene McMaster and Marie McMaster, both of Okolona; five grandchildren, Beth and Larry Jameson of Sherwood, Richard and Carol Lambert of Benton, Phil and Maria Lambert of Benton, Mark and Lisa Lewis of Lincoln, Nebr., and Chris and Beth Lewis of Woodbridge, Va.; eight great grandchildren, Chad and Donna Jameson of Maumelle, Sean Jameson of Little Rock, Shane Lambert of Little Rock, Blaine and Stephanie Lambert of Benton, Candice Lambert of Benton, Caleb Lambert of Benton, Zachery Lewis of Lincoln, Nebr., and Tyler Lewis of Lincoln, Nebr.; and two great great grandchildren, Mason Anderson Lambert of Benton and Ashli Jameson of Maumelle. Funeral services were Sat., Oct. 30, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating.
