Curley Wolves Battle To 12-12 Tie With Bobcats (cont)Published Wednesday, September 13, 1995 in the Nevada County Picayuneant with 72 yards. Yates passed 17 times with 13 of them incomplete. The Wolves managed nine first downs with five of them coming in the fourth period. Hope finished with 15 first downs. Prescott was penalized seven times for 45 yards. Hope was penalized eight time for 85 yards. The Bobcats had 287 offensive yards. They had 213 yards rushing and Turner completed six passes for 74 yards. He attempted 13 passes during the game. Hope's leading rusher weas Alen McWilliams with 118 yards. Greg Wilson rushed for 59 yards. Hope turned the ball over three times on downs, Prescott did it once. The Wolves were neither intercepted nor did they lose a fumble. In addition to the two blocked punt Prescott intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble for two turnovers. This week the Wolves will host the Ashdown Panthers. Game time is 7:30. Prescott fans are urged to go out the PHS stadium to show support to the Wolves and to the Prescott marching band.
