Special Meeting Called For Gurdon Council Next Monday

The Gurdon City Council will be holding a special meeting Monday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

The purpose will be for the reading for the third and final time of an ordinance regarding the annexation of property on Highway 67 South. The property runs along the highway from the present Gurdon city limits past the new school complex, which is out the city limits now.

The proposed ordinance is number 99-005, which is entitled: An Ordinance Submitting to the Voters of the City of Gurdon, Arkansas, and Other Affected Persons, the Questions of Annexation to Said City of Gurdon Certain Contiguous Territory.

Members of the Gurdon City Council encourages the public to attend this important meeting.
