Area Residents Earn Degrees

Degrees were conferred on 65 students during August graduation exercises at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.

Area residents among the graduates included: Thomas Lynn Peck of Emmet with a bachelor of science, biological science major and chemistry minor; Marian Dina Campbell of Prescott with a bachelor of science in agriculture business; Mitzie Lou Burton with a bachelor of science in sociology; Kimelyn Denita Quarles with a bachelor of business administration in business management; and Lisa Gay Williams with a master of education in health, kinesiology and recreation, all of Rosston.
