GMS Students Win Art ContestPublished Wednesday, October 4, 1995 in the Gurdon TimesJessie McClure, Rebecca Stephens and Ashley Hules, 5th grade students at Gurdon Middle School are winners in the coloring contest sponsored by the Clark County Conservation District. Cash prizes were awarded to each student in a assembly at the High School Gym, Tuesday September 26. The prizes were awarded by Fred Reed, Chairman of the Clark County Conservation District. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
