The annual Ursery-Ridgell family reunion was held Sunday, September 5, at the Housing Authority building in Prescott. Approximately 36 attended 22 descendants of the Bud Ursery, 12 descendants of Herbert Ridgell and two of the Walter Ridgell family. The group enjoyed a delicious dinner. The invocation was given by Theo Flaherty. Plans are to meet again next year on Sunday of the Labor Day weekend at same place. We are very sorry Syble Brown fell and broke her shoulder. She is in St. Michael Hospital at Texarkana in room 574. Willie and I enjoyed Roy and Judy Allen's visit with us Thursday. The Bill, Dave and Ben Wicker family reunion will be Sunday, September 12, at the Housing Authority building, 401 Hale Avenue, in Prescott. There will be lunch at the noon hour. Friends and relatives are invited. Herbie, Robin and Alex Ridgell spent Wednesday night with Doris Ridgell and Terry and Boletta Crabtree of Fort Worth.
