Published Wednesday, October 11, 1995 in the Nevada County Picayune

Larry Jameson, son of the late Ernest and Floise Jameson of Prescott and a 1967 graduate of Prescott High School, has joined the Estate Planning seminar team of Douglas R. Jones & Associates, P.A. and the Sherwood Law Firm in Sherwood.

His responsibilities will include creation of revocable living trusts, pour over wills, living wills, property agreements, durable powers of attorney and assisting clients in asset transfers to establish their living trusts.

A member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the Sherwood Law Firm specializes in estate planning through living trusts. Living trusts, in most instances, allow a family to avoid costly probate proceedings and to shelter up to $1.2 million from federal and state estate taxes. Forbes magazine recently featured living trusts as the best way to protect estate assets and recommended that no middle class family be without one.

The Sherwood Law Firm provides free living trust booklets, no cost seminars and free consultations to persons seeking information.

Jameson's educational experience includes Southern State College in Magnolia, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Central Baptist College in Conway, successful investing and money management at Hume Financial Education Services, Ollie's School of Insurance and Training with the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.
