Forest Fest Pageant Scheduled for Sat.

The thirteenth annual Forest Festival Pageant will be held this Sturday evening, October 14, at the Gurdon High School at 7:00.

Saturday morning rehearsal schedule will be as follows: Tiny Miss, ages 3-5, at 9:00; Little Miss, ages 6-8, will be at 9:45; Princess, ages 9-12, will be at 10:30; and Queen, ages 13-18, will be at 11:15.

Interviews for girls in the Queen division will be held at 3:30 in the Hoo-Hoo Buillding, next to the Sonic Drive-In. Fashionable attire is requested.

The theme for this year's pageant is "It Had To Be You."

Special entertainment will be given by Mrs. Winnie Clark. Billy Tarpley will again be the emcee.

"We hope you will be able to attend this year's pageant," according to Billy Wells, "which has a special surprise." Wells and Paul Shaver are in charge of the pageant, which is presented by the Gurdon CD&E Club.

Tickets are $3 at the door and $2.50 in advance. You may purchase tickets at Billy's Main Street Florist in Kuhn's Sentry Hardware building.
