Homecoming Activities Fill Week in PrescottPublished Wednesday, October 18, 1995 in the Nevada County PicayuneStaci Wilson will reign as the 1995 homecoming queen for Prescott High School homecoming activities this week. Wilson will be crowned Friday night at the PHS stadium at 7:00 prior to the football game between Prescott and Hampton. Other members of the homecoming court are Veleta Gulley, maid-at-large; Melinda McGough and Chandra Odom, senior maids; Kelli Ashbrook and Freda Thomas, junior maids; Jessica Hildebrand and Tamra Marlar, sophomore maids; Caitlin Plunkett, flower girl; Joel Daniel, crown bearer; Trish Brzeski and Lori Burke, student announcers. Senior Curley Wolf escorts are Courtney Bryant, John Cornelius, Brent Duke, Braith Egger, Jerome Fulks, Larry Henderson, Jason Koger, Stan Koger, Charlie Rockett, Matt Wingfield, and Barrett Yates. The PHS Student Council is sponsoring a parade along the traditional parade route. The parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18. On Friday a pep rally will be held at 2:25 p.m. in the PHS gymnasium. The royalty and escorts will be introduced during the pep rally. A reception for the royalty will be held immediately following the game in the PHS home economics building. Everyone is invited to attend the reception.
