Rural Fire Departments, Rescue Unit Raising Money

There will be a beneift chili feed on Saturday, October 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Prescott Elementary School, along with live entertainment.

The event is being given for Charles Ray Cross who is suffering from cancer and has spent a great deal of time in the hospital.

Tickets are available at the Nevada County Branch Bank of Delight, Bank of Prescott, Prescott Motor Company, Church of Christ, All rural fire departments, Nevada County Rescue Unit members.

The price of the tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

This event is being sponosred by the Nevada County Rescue Unit and several rural fire departments from across Nevada County.

Cross, a resident of Laneburg, serves Nevada County as Office of Emergency Services (OES) coordinator.
