The Wolves had 181 total yards to Gurdon's 100.

The win also gave Prescott the first traveling trophy, presented at the conclusion of the game by the Nevada County Picayune and Gurdon Times.

The Wolves will keep the plaque until the two squads meet again on the field of battle. At this time, the winning team will take the trophy home and with it bragging rights for the next year.

But, Gurdon must concentrate on its battle with DeQueen Friday night. The Devils are literally in a must-win situation as they tangle with the Leopards in DeQueen's back yard.

Kickoff for this final regular season game is set for 7:30 p.m.
