Calendar In Works

The Gurdon Band Boosters are now working on the 1996 birthday calendar.

This project was previously done by the Historical Preservation Association. The boosters acknowledged the work done by others in getting the boosters started on this project.

The boosters will be starting with names taken at the Forest Festival and the group will continue taking names through November 18. Its goal is to have the calendars for sale in December.

Birthdays or anniversaries costs fifty cents each. Advertisement cost will be $15 per space. This will be collected at the time a person requests dates and ads be printed.

The calendars will cast $2 when delivered.

The Band Boosters are not starting with previously printed calendar dates.

Calendar dates can be paid for at Billy's Main Street Florist, or by contacting Elizabeth Wilson at 353-2538, Judy Hittenrauch at 353-4784, or Linda Gayle Hogue at 353-2916.

The Band Boosters are proud of the excellent ratings the GHS Band recently earned at the Ashdown Invitational Marching Contest and at the Regional Competition.
