Basketball Jamboree Is Saturday At Prescott

The fourth annual senior girls jamboree will be held this Saturday at the PHS gymnasium beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Each `game' will last approximately 45 minutes and go in rotation so that when the day is over all will have played four quarters.

Concluding the day, at approximately 7:30 Saturday night, the Prescott senior boys will have a practice game against Jessieville. However, this will be only a partial team as some of the Curley Wolves are part of the football team.

The Hope and Norphlet senior girls sill get things underway at 9:00. This is how the rest of the round robin will go:

  • 9:45 -- De Queen will meet Norphlet, then De Queen will take on Hope at 10:30.
  • 11:15 -- Lewisville will challenge the Prescott Wolverettes and then Fountain Lake will challenge Prescott at 12:00, with Lewisville taking on Fountain Lake at 12:45.
  • 1:30 -- Hot Springs and Nashville will match up Smackover Smackover playing Nashville at 2:15 and then Hot Springs challenging Smackover at 3:00.
  • 3:45 -- Gurdon and Murfreesboro will go at it, then Arkadelphia will challenge Murfreesboro at 4:30, with Jessiville taking on Arkadelphia at 5:15.
  • 6:00 -- The Gurdon Lady Go-Devils will match up against Harmony Grove, and then Harmony Grove will be challenged by Jessiville at 6:45 for the finale of the senior girls' games.
The Curley Wolves and Jessieville senior boys will conclude the day's activities.

All times after 9:00 a.m. are approximately.

This is sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA). No season tickets or passes (with the exception of the AAA passes) will be accepted.
