Red Ribbon Week Celebrated at PHS

The Prescott High School chapter of the Future Homemakers of America helped to organize activities for Red Ribbon Week, October 23-26 at PHS.

On Monday, red ribbons were given to everyone to wear all week. PHS socked it to drugs by wearing red socks.

Tuesday, October 24, was Red Tie Day (tie up drugs).

Wednesday, October 25, was wear red all over to support efforts to form a drug-free society.

Thursday, October 26: Rule out drugs with a ruler-bookmark given to everyone. Also parents received red ribbons at the parent/teacher conference.

Other on-going monthly/weekly activities included hanging banners in the lobby.

Students had a chance to win a cash prize each day if they were wearing or carrying the item for that day. No one received money for Monday or Tuesday. April Glass won $9 Wednesday and Thursday's winner was Oletha Hall who won $5.
