Work ContinuesPublished Wednesday, November 22, 1995 in the Gurdon TimesWork on the water and sewer project to the new Gurdon High School continues, and is projected to be completed within the contract period of 75 days, weather permitting. The final hurdle was overcome when four sisters, who had been asking for a free hookup in exchange for their easements, agreed to give the land to the project. It is hoped the water and sewer lines will be in place and hooked up by the Christmas break so equipment can be moved into the new facility from the existing high school.
