Junior Jay Teams RollPublished Wednesday, November 22, 1995 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Nevada junior boys kept their slate clean last week when they wiped out the junior Hornets at Mt. Holly, 76-25. The junior Jays are now 2-0 for the year. They have not played any conference games. The junior Lady Blue Jays defeated Genoa Central, 42-34, last week also. The junior girls are now 4-1 for the season and 1-0 in the 7A South Conference. Lamar Haynie scored 15 points on Monday of last week to lead the junior Jays against Mt. Holly. Twelve other Nevada players scored in the game also. They were Geoffery Box with 9 points, Julius Gulley, Keon Page, and Jace Jarvis with 8 each, Eric Gosvenor with 6, Marcus Harper and Justin Curtis with 5 each, Recco Holliman with 4, Derrick Bell with 3, Chris Carlton and Jerrun Lewis with 2 each and Justin House with 1 point. Mt. Holly's leading scorer was Andrew McBride with 10 points. Tierra Lambert led the junior Lady Jays in their victory against Genoa. Romana Evans was next with 10 for the junior Lady Jays.
