Blue Jays 92, Mt. Holly 82

It wasn't easy, but the Blue Jays finally pulled it off, 92-82, in overtime at Mt. Holly.

Reginald Reed came through with 30 points against the Mt. Holly Hornets. He hit 2 three's, 10 two's and 4 of 7 free shots.

Joseph Young scored 16 points for Nevada, 5 two's, 1 three-pointer and he made 3 of 4 free shots.

LaMarcus Page made 7 field goals for 14 points.

Tavoris Blakely finished the night with 13 points for Nevada, 1 three, 4 two's and 2 of 4 free shots.

Jermaine Perkins and Ricardo Young scored 7 points each for Nevada, Eric Murphy had 3 and Jimmy Bailey scored 2 points.

Andre Rufus scored 29 points for Mt. Holly. He made one three, 8 two's and 10 of 12 free shots.

Derrick Williams finished with 22 points for Mt. Holly with 2 three's, 4 two's and he made 8 of 9 free throws.

Steven Ainsworth and Jonathan Miller scored 14 points apiece for Mt. Holly. They each had 3 two's, 1 three-pointer and hit 5 free shots.

Mt. Holly made 27 of 38 free shots. Nevada made 11 of 19.

Mt. Holly led 27-17 after one quarter and 41-37 at halftime. However, the Blue Jays led 61-58 after three quarters. It was tied at 77 after four regulation quarters.

In the overtime period Andre Rufus made two two's and Michael McBride made one of 2 free shots for 5 points, which increased the Hornets score to 82.

It was big time for Nevada, however, as they came through with 15 points.

Scoring for the Jays in the overtime period were Reginald Reed with 7 points, Josephy Young with 6, and Tavoris Blakely and Eric Murphy making a free shot apiece.
