Post 96-44 League-opening WinPublished Wednesday, November 22, 1995 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Nevada senior boys opened conference play last week on Tuesday by hosting Genoa. The Blue Jays won it hands down, 96-44. The Lady Jays were not so lucky. The Lady Dragons handed the Nevada senior girls a 68-58 loss. The night before at Mt. Holly the Lady Blue Jays had easily won, 84-41, against a much weaker team. The Blue Jays also won, however difficult, 92-82 in overtime. In both games last week the Blue Jays scored 188 points. This week the Nevada teams were to host Prescott on Monday and they were to travel to Hope on Tuesday before the Thanksgiving break. Those results will be in the Picayune next week.
